Don't worry, I won't judge you if you arrived here thinking some fool tried to write about trauma and gravely misspelled it on the very cover page. Thauma was concealed to me until one day — as fate would have it — I happened to wonder just right, and poof! That morning a young lifetime of soul searching and researching coalesced into a clear contour, one I knew immediately it would be my work to contribute to the field. What is now before you represents the latest manifestation of what will be an ongoing effort to hone and expound the many ways our wounds transmute into wonder. The territory remains the endless expanse of love's imagination. Here you have a humble magic map where every point is the center and all paths lead to now•here.
I have laid it out as an eight-leg guide (plus six turns) from wounds to wonder channeling and condensing millennia of insight and contemplation, delivered as prose, rites, talks, songs, and visual art.
We explore the freedom to love along and around the mystic spiral of being and becoming, drawing on wisdom traditions across space, time, and cosmology, with special attention to the elements of nature, the methods of alchemy, the wonders of technology, and the depth of our senses.
